If we see that your profile photos/videos are just of your pets or they're blurry low quality images or they're all taken quickly in the same place, you won't make it into the beta, but you will have secured your place in the waitlist and you'll be able to change everything later so don't worry.

Once you've signed up to the app, you will land on the “you're on the waitlist” screen.

Here is where you'll be given the opportunity to move up the waitlist by completing “wait-list jumps” if you want to get reviewed faster.

Filling out every piece of information on here i.e. linking up your socials, telling us a bit about yourself and maybe why/how you want to use shake. This is your best bet.

It takes us (on average) 6 minutes to hand review a profile. This is anything from checking out your IG you linked to reading your “additional info”.

Once we've learned some more, streamlined our onboarding and review process, we can start to move quicker, but we're not about to rush and let everyone on and become just another dating app.
