It's complicated and we don't divulge much because we try new things often. One important thing to note is that we do order users by how likely we think they are to be approved (each source has an "approval" rate).
The image below shows a rough overview of how our waitlist is currently structured (this may change as we learn). Because we’re in private beta, we’re only onboarding people when we NEED to grow, and we’re only selecting users that we know are real people.
While we’re still in private beta, we’ll be reviewing in the following order
- Users who come from other private beta users (referrals through people already on the app)
- Users who linked all of their socials and filled everything out on the waitlist screen (so we can see you're a real person, what you're all about and what you're into)
- Users who linked most of their socials or linked to other online presence
- Users who linked no socials (we can't really check if these are "real people")
